• Porsche’s GT3 RS resale values continue climbing as demand outpaces supply.
  • A white Weissach-pack GT3 RS sold for $351K after covering just 1,400 miles.
  • The used car included $90K in options, including carbon bits and ceramic brakes.

Interest in high-performance, track-ready sports cars hasn’t faded one bit, and when it comes to factory-built precision machines, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS continues to lead the conversation. Car collectors and enthusiasts can’t seem to get enough of the current-generation model.

Porsche made buying one new an exercise in exclusivity, basically a closed club for VIPs, so naturally, the used market has taken off over the past year or so. It’s little surprise then that this example sold for more than $40,000 over the original sticker price, even though it’s been driven 1,400 miles (2,253 km).

By no means is this the most expensive GT3 RS to recently trade hands. Quite the opposite, in fact. A browse through Bring a Trailer shows that during 2024 and the start of this year, some lightly-used GT3 RSs were trading hands for $390,000 and up, with a handful even finding new homes for more than $400,000. In March, a Viola Purple GT3 RS sold for a remarkable $500,000. With that in mind, it seems the buyer of this car actually got a pretty good deal.

This car is painted white and features red lettering along the sides and the underside of the rear wing. It also sits on Satin Pyro Red lightweight 20- and 21-inch magnesium center-lock wheels and was ordered with the $33,520 Weissach package. As such, it includes a carbon fiber roof, carbon mirrors, and new front and rear anti-roll bars.

On top of that, there’s no shortage of other add-ons. This GT3 RS features Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, a $10,110 option. It also includes a $3,670 front axle lift system, a $1,600 Bose audio system, and $2,600 worth of paint protection film applied to the front of the car.

Inside, Porsche’s optional Race-Tex inserts are joined by Guards Red stitching and matching red seat belts. All told, the car’s original MSRP came in at $309,300, and it ended up selling for $351,000.

It will be interesting to see where prices of the 992-generation 911 GT3 RS go from now. Porsche will inevitably release an updated 992.2-gen version in the not-too-distant future, and its arrival could ease down prices of the current car. Until then, the 992 GT3 RS continues to command strong prices, especially when well-specced and lightly used.
